Former maintenance superintendent alleges Praxair wrongfully terminated him

Wrongful term 10

BATON ROUGE – An East Baton Rouge Parish man alleges that he was wrongfully terminated from his job as a maintenance superintendent.

Jonathan Brown filed a complaint on July 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana against Praxair Inc., et al, alleging wrongful termination.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 13, 2016, he was wrongfully terminated from his employment with the defendant. He alleges he has suffered and will continue to suffer damages, including physical and mental pain, medical expenses, loss of earnings and opportunity and household expenses.

The plaintiff holds Praxair Inc., et al responsible because the defendants allegedly subjected plaintiff to racial discrimination, disparate treatment, harassment and repercussion.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants in such amounts as are reasonable under the premises, plus legal interest and all proper, general and equitable relief. He is represented by Willie G. Johnson of The Johnson Law Groups APLC in Baton Rouge.
