Alabama man alleged to still owe more than $3,000 to Florida individual

NEW ORLEANS – An Alabama man is alleged to have failed to pay a Florida man in full.

United States of America filed a complaint on June 20 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against John Foster Holcomb alleging failure to pay.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the parties entered into an agreement that required defendant to pay restitution totaling $6,758.18 to Ian McAllister, a resident of Florida. At the end of the diversion period in June, the balance amount of $3,558.18 allegedly remains unpaid. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment defendant in the amount of $3,558.18 without post-judgment interest. It is represented by Duane A. Evans, Peter M. Mansfield and Michael Simpson of United States Attorneys in New Orleans.
