Car accident 12

MONROE – An Ouachia Parish woman has filed suit against a Land O'Lakes, Florida man after a collision in Florida.

Priscilla Wade, individually and on behalf of her minor children Makyiya Wade and Mikeayla Wade, filed a complaint on June 22, in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, Monroe Division against Juan Munoz and Geico General Insurance Co. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Jan. 25, 2016, they were injured in a vehicular accident when defendant Munoz struck her vehicle on state Route 60 in Pinellas County, Florida. She alleges she and her children sustained serious injuries.

The plaintiffs hold Juan Munoz and Geico General Insurance Co. responsible because the defendant Munoz allegedly failed to maintain careful lookout and failed to maintain control of his vehicle.

The plaintiffs seek damages against defendants, jointly and severally, for damages reasonable in the premises, plus interest, costs of this action and such further relief as the court deems just and proper. They are represented by Eddie Clark and Jasmine M. Callies of The Law Firm of Eddie Clark & Associates in Monroe.
