Taylor Porter associate Leah Cook has been elected to the board of the Charles W. Lamar Jr. YMCA.
The Charles W. Lamar Jr. YMCA is one of nine locations of the YMCA of the Capital Area, which has served Baton Rouge and surrounding communities since 1917. The Y offers various programs and services, and is a nonprofit, community service organization with a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
At Taylor Porter, Cook practices in various areas of commercial litigation and environmental law.
Cook earned her J.D. in 2017 from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center; she earned her Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from LSU in 2017; and received her Bachelor’s Degree in French Studies and minors in Biological Sciences and Chemistry from LSU in 2012.
