Taylor, Porter, Brooks & Phillips LLP issued the following announcement on Jan. 22.
Taylor Porter attorneys Katie Goodson and Robin Toups volunteered at the annual University Lab School mock trial as part of the fourth grade class field trip through the various branches of government across Baton Rouge, including the State Capitol (legislative branch), the Governor’s mansion (executive branch), and the 19th JDC (judicial branch).
Thank you to volunteers: Judges Toni Higginbotham (1st Circuit Court of Appeals) and Beau Higginbotham (19th JDC); Cathy Giering, and Gina Banks, and Judson Banks.
Toups serves as a board member of the University Laboratory School Foundation, while Goodson volunteers in various programs and projects for the School.
