Louisiana State Bar Association recently issued the following announcement.
This holiday season will look very different for many Louisiana families struggling to recover from crushing storm damage. To aid in the ongoing relief efforts, the LSBA Community Action Committee is partnering with the Tulane Center for Public Service and Glass Half Full for a day of service in Pointe-Aux-Chenes. Volunteers are needed to assist with heavy-duty Hurricane Ida recovery, including mucking, gutting and debris removal.
The day of service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4, from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Volunteers will meet at the Pointe-au-Chien Indian Tribe Community Center in Terrebonne Parish (3798 LA-665, Montegut). Lunch will be sponsored by Mills & Amond LLP.
Volunteer to help a community in need!
