Doctor sued for allegedly selling woman's explicit photos

NEW ORLEANS - A Jane Doe filed a federal lawsuit on Dec. 29 in the Eastern District of Louisiana against Dr. Phillip T. Sobash, who allegedly published private photographs of the woman.

According to the lawsuit, Doe began a relationship with the defendant in January 2021. During the course of their relationship, Doe sent photographs of herself for his own use with the assurance they would be kept private. 

Doe alleges during the time of their friendship and into the relationship, the defendant published private photographs to embarrass Doe and sold images commercially on a variety of websites without the knowledge or consent of Doe.

Does seeks general, special and economic damages; punitive damages; stipulated damages; attorney fees; and cost of suit. She is represented by David C. Spinner of Metairie.

Sobash has faced similar accusations in the past.
