Louisiana Supreme Court issued the following announcement on Mar. 14.

On Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 3 p.m. the Justices of the Louisiana Supreme Court attend a joint session of the Louisiana State Legislature. Chief Justice John L. Weimer deliver the State of the Judiciary address in the chambers of the House of Representatives.

The first State of the Judiciary address by a Louisiana Supreme Court Chief Justice to the Legislature was in 1997, and this will be Chief Justice Weimer’s first State of the Judiciary address since becoming Chief Justice in 2021. The speech will be live-streamed from the Legislature’s website at www.legis.la.gov and the Louisiana Supreme Court’s website at www.lasc.org/.
