MBLB Participates in NOBA Annual Bar & Grille Cooking Competition

Courtscalesgavel673

Attorneys at Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett fired up the grill during the NOBA Annual Bar & Grille Cooking Competition. The event, which was held on April 9, 2022 at the Peristyle at City Park, was hosted by the Young Lawyers Section of the New Orleans Bar Association (NOBA). The Bar & Grille law firm cooking competition is a fundraiser for the Veterans Justice Fellowship. This prestigious fellowship provides life-changing civil legal help to address the needs of low-income veterans in the New Orleans area. The New Orleans Bar & Grille is a unique opportunity that brings the legal community and private business together to fund the fellowship.

With the sapphire skies and the cool breeze, the weather could not have been more beautiful. MBLB’s team of chefs, Alejandro Rodríguez, Simone Yoder, JoAnn Hymel, Tyler Loga, Taylor Tran, Alex Domingue and Thomas Yoder, competed against other law firm teams for several different “best of” categories. Team MBLB served pork pernil over pineapple coleslaw on a corn tortilla with a tequila Topo Chico lime and jalapeno cocktail. If there was a category for best chef team, no doubt, Team MBLB would have taken home that trophy!

Thanks to everyone who came out to cheer on our team, but especially to our chefs!
