Lafayette Partner Jeffrey A. Riggs was recently appointed to the Louisiana State Bar Association (LSBA) Board of Governors for a 3-year term.
The LSBA Board of Governors is comprised of 22 leaders, who are in charge of fiscal responsibility and general administration for the organization.
"I am honored to receive this appointment and encourage all our younger attorneys to make a difference by getting involved in their local and state bars," said Mr. Riggs on the appointment. "Be the change!"
Mr. Riggs is a member of the Labor & Employment, Insurance Law, and Workers’ Compensation Practices. He is admitted to practice in Louisiana and Texas state and federal courts, and has represented clients and litigated throughout on a broad range of legal issues including employment and labor matters, insurance coverage and bad faith advice and litigation, general liability, contract drafting, interpretation and indemnity, as well as admiralty, maritime and energy.
