On Tuesday morning, my office testified before the Study Commission on Deterring Sex Offenses against Children Task Force. I am grateful to Senator Regina Ashford Barrow not only for her invitation but also for her efforts to protect Louisiana’s children.
As the head of my Cyber Crime Unit said: our ICAC Task Force has seen is a 430% increase in cybertips over the past seven years. This is a group of investigators and other law enforcement professionals who have analyzed over 754,643 gigabytes of evidence and arrested more than 800 suspects during that same time.
I will continue to fight against child predators who targeting the future of Louisiana!
