VOLUNTEER POSITIONS ARE STILL AVAILABLE to judge the 2023 Richard N. Ware, IV Memorial High School Mock Trial Competition on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the 24th JDC in Gretna, LA. No previous mock trial experience is necessary, all volunteers are welcome!

Volunteers will serve as scoring and presiding judges for three rounds of the competition. Volunteers can participate in any round(s) they wish and will receive all information necessary prior to the competition date. 

Volunteer shifts begin at 8:00 a.m., 10:15 a.m., and 1:30 p.m. This is the first year the competition has returned to an in-person format since 2019.

The state competition is the culmination of four regional championships coordinated annually by the LSBA’s Young Lawyers Division. To review the 2023 Mock Trial Handbook, the 2023 Mock Trial Case Problem or the Mock Trial Rules of Evidence, go to: www.lsba.org/YLD/.
