The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana reported the following activity in the suit brought by Linda Crossland against Employers Insurance Company of Wausau and Liberty Mutual Insurance Company on Jan. 13: 'Order Granting 284 Motion To Sever And Stay In Case Number 20-3470. The Court Hereby Grants The Motion And Severs All Claims Pending Against Liberty Mutual And Wausau In Their Capacity As Alleged Insurers Of Reilly-benton. It Is Ordered That The Severed Matter Shall Be Assigned To Section R(2). For Purposes Of Local Rules 3.1 And 3.1.1, This Court Has Determined That The Severed Matter Is Related To Case No. 20-3470. It Is Further Ordered That The Severed Matter Shall Be Stayed And Administratively Closed. The Case May Be Reopened Upon Motion By The Parties, As Stated Herein. It Is Further Ordered That, Within Ten Days Of Opening The New Civil Action, Plaintiff Shall File An Amended Complaint As Stated Herein.
