Edward J. Walters, Jr., a partner in the Baton Rouge firm of Walters, Thomas, Cullens, LLC, is a former Louisiana State Bar Association secretary and Adjunct Professor of Law at the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center.
C.A. (Hap) Martin III is a member in the Monroe firm of Shotwell, Brown & Sperry, APLC and is also a former Louisiana State Bar Association secretary.
The president-elect will automatically assume the presidency in 2025-26. The nomination recommendations will next be considered by the Board of Governors.
