Kim Phan, a partner in Troutman Pepper's Privacy + Cyber Practice Group, has been elected as the president of the National Conference of Vietnamese American Attorneys (NCVAA). The NCVAA is the first-ever national Vietnamese American bar association for attorneys, law students, judges, and legal scholars. Phan was sworn in as the president on September 16, 2023, for the 2023-2024 term.
Prior to her appointment as president, Phan served as the incoming president of the NCVAA from 2022 to 2023 and as secretary from 2021 to 2022. As the newly elected president, Phan will lead the board and ensure that the NCVAA's mission to advance the academic and professional advancement of Vietnamese Americans in the legal profession is fulfilled.
