Hammond Man Arrested By Liz Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit For First Degree Rape Of Child, Other Charges

Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit arrested a man from Hammond for multiple sex crimes against children on Thursday, April 4. 

William Blake Porter (B/M; DOB: 04-03-1991) was arrested for violating:

L.R.S. – 14:42 – First Degree Rape under age of 13 years old

L.R.S. – 14:81.1 – Pornography Involving Juveniles (Felony)

              (1 count) - Possession Under the age of 13 years old

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with the Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Porter was booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Prison.

The investigation is ongoing.
