George Edward Fitzgerald sues Lisa for conversion of stolen cryptocurrencies

George Edward Fitzgerald, II has filed a lawsuit against Defendant "1" also known as "Lisa" and John Does 1-20, unidentified individuals or entities, in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. The case ID is 2:24-cv-00934-BWA-DPC and it was filed on April 15, 2024. The plaintiff accuses the defendants of stealing cryptocurrencies worth approximately $180,000 at the time of theft.

The plaintiff alleges that the defendants stole 3.54877 BTC (Bitcoin) and $49,340.45 USDC (USD Coin) from him as part of a sophisticated global internet cryptocurrency fraud and conversion scheme. Defendant "1", according to Fitzgerald's counsel, played a significant role in this theft and is believed to currently possess all or a significant portion of the stolen property.

The plaintiff seeks to recover his stolen assets through this lawsuit. The approximate value of the stolen cryptocurrency at the time of filing this complaint is estimated to be $304,316.03.
