Attorney General Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit arrests Crowley man for Pornography Involving Juveniles

Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit arrested a Crowley man on June 26, 2024 for Pornography Involving Juveniles under the age of 13.

42-year-old Shannon Robert Primeaux, of South Avenue D in Crowley, was arrested for violating:

•    15 Counts of LA RS 14:81.1 Pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13 (Felony) in Acadia Parish.

Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

This arrest was the result of a joint investigation with Attorney General Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit, Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations.

Primeaux was booked into the Acadia Parish Jail.

His reported bond amount was $50,000.00.
