Jennifer E. Baker joined the Baton Rouge office as an Associate. She practices in commercial litigation, unfair competition, and real estate, land use, and property rights law. Prior to joining Taylor Porter, Jennifer served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable John W. deGravelles of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. Jennifer has also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable John W. deGravelles of United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana and the Honorable Wendy B. Vitter of United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
Mary K. Coles joined the firm as an Associate. She practices in commercial litigation. Mary received her J.D./D.C.L. from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2024. She received her BFA, magna cum laude, in theatre with a musical theatre emphasis from Texas Christian University in May 2021. Mary was featured in 225 Magazine Twenty in their 20’s in 2024.
M. Matthew Distefano joined the firm as an Associate. He practices in commercial litigation. Matthew received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2024 where he was an Articles Editor for the Loyola Law Review. He received his B.A. from the University of Mississippi in 2020.
Philip M. Marr joined the Baton Rouge office as an Associate. He practices in commercial litigation. Philip received his J.D./D.C.L., cum laude, from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2024 where he was a Dean’s Scholarship Recipient and a Dean Scholar. He received his B.A. in history with a minor in political science from Louisiana State University in 2021.
Anna C. Stolzenthaler joined Taylor Porter as an Associate. She practices in commercial litigation. Anna received her J.D/D.C.L., cum laude, from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2024, where she was a recipient of the Dean’s Tuition Scholarship. She received her B.S. from Louisiana State University in 2020. When not practicing law, Anna enjoys cooking, interior design, and travel.
