Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a Lake Charles man on multiple charges on March 12, 2025.
31-year-old Tyler Quentin Landry, of Hodges Street in Lake Charles, was arrested on the following charges:
105 Counts of LA RS 14:81.1E(5)(a) Pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13(Possession) (Felony)
3 Counts LA RS 14:81.1E(5)(a) Pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13(Distribution) (Felony)
1 Count LA RS 14:73.13 Unlawful Deepfake (Felony)
Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with General Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Homeland Security Investigations.
Tyler Quentin Landry was ultimately booked into the Calcasieu Parish Jail.
His bond has reportedly been set at $1,420,000.00.
"If you hurt our kids, you're going to jail. We will not tolerate here in Louisiana," said Attorney General Liz Murrill.
