Louisiana Bureau of Investigation agents arrest Lafayette man for Sexual Abuse of an Animal and Pornography Involving Juveniles

Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a Lafayette man on March 19, 2025.

33-year-old Brandon D Needham, of S College Road in Lafayette, was arrested for violating:

6 Counts of 14:81.1-- Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of 13 (Felony) 

20 Counts of 14:89.3 Sexual Abuse of an Animal (Felony)

Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit, the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Homeland Security Investigations.

Needham was transported to the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center, where he was booked on the above-mentioned charges. 

His bond has reportedly been set at $175,00.00.
