New Orleans rear-end accident subject of suit

Progressive and United Service Automobile Association are being sued over injuries allegedly suffered in a rear-end automobile accident.

According to the complaint filed April 22 in Orleans Parish District Court, Justin Colin of New Orleans was struck by Valencia Spotville, also from New Orleans, causing him injuries.

The complaint alleges that the sole and proximate cause of the accident was Spotville's failure to keep a good and careful lookout, failure to maintain reasonable and proper control of her vehicle, speeding and operating the vehicle in a careless and reckless manner.

Colin who was injured in the accident is seeking compensation for those injuries along with penalties and any attorney fees that may be incurred.

The plaintiff is being represented by Edward J. Womac Jr. of New Orleans.
