An Orleans Parish woman is suing both the drivers and their insurance company over a 2009 car accident in which she was a passenger.
New Orleans attorney Arthur Shott III filed a suit on behalf of Rosel Solis-Arevalo in Orleans Parish Civil District Court. The suit names Darbin Zuniga, Bruce Verrette, Progressive Insurance and State Farm Insurance ad defendants.
The suit claims that Verrette rear-ended Zuniga's car, in which Arevalo was a passenger, and Arevalo sustained injuries to her "skeletal, musculature, and nervous systems."
The suit claims that both defendants are liable in the accident and thus both should be liable for damamges.
This suit has been assigned to Judge Ethel Julien.
