Brandon Bartholomew and Jared Juneau filed suit against Corey Moffett, Performance Food Group d/b/a PFG, Vistar Corp., Roma Food Enterprises Inc. and Zurich American Insurance Co. on Dec. 30, 2010 in Jefferson Parish District Court. The defendant removed the case to federal court in New Orleans on Feb. 11.

The accident occurred on Jan. 5, 2010 as Bartholomew and Juneau were traveling on Power Blvd. in Jefferson Parish. They state their vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by defendant Moffett and owned by PFG, Vistar and Roma. According to the complaint, Juneau was attempting to make a left hand turn, from the left lane, unto Power Blvd. when Moffett made an improper left hand turn, from the center lane.
