JRP Construction sued twice in one week for past due accounts

DONALDSONVILLE – An Ascension Parish contractor has been sued twice in one week for overdue accounts with local building supply outlets.

Roofing Products & Building Supply Company filed suit on Jan. 13 in the 23rd Judicial District Court against JRP Construction and its owner Randy Pebworth.

Pebworth and JRP were also named in a suit filed on Jan. 17 by T&L Forest Products. The plaintiff claims JRP owes them $6,506.19 on a past due bill for roofing supplies. The roofing company is seeking damages in the amount owed plus attorney and legal fees.

Roofing Products & Building Supply Company is being represented by Thomas J. Lutkewitte of New Orleans-based Favret, Demarest, Russo and Lutkewitte.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Thomas Kliebert, Jr.
