GRETNA – The parents of two minor who allegedly destroyed parish property are being sued by Jefferson Parish.
The Parish of Jefferson filed suit on March 26 against Lori and David Bollotte, Amy Gideon and Jose Rojas in the 24th Judicial District Court.
The Parish claims two minor boys aged 12 and 13 caused a fire in a bathroom at Terrytown Recreation Department on September 24, 2011. The plaintiff asserts the parents of the boys should be held accountable for the actions of their sons.
An unspecified amount in damages is sought for costs to repair the facility plus legal costs.
The plaintiff is being represented by W. Reed Smith of the Jefferson Parish Attorney's Office.
The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
