Kenner Winn-Dixie sued in slip and fall

GRETNA – A woman is suing a local grocery store for injuries she claims occurred on their premises.

Arianne Marshall Parker filed suit in the 23rd Judicial District Court against Winn-Dixie Montgomery, LLC on June 1. Parker claims she was exiting the Winn Dixie at 2104 Williams Boulevard in Kenner when she slipped in a liquid and fell. The plaintiff alleges she fell on her left side and received traumatic physical and psychological injuries.

The defendant is accused of failing to maintain the premises, failing to properly inspect the premises, failing to report a known hazardous condition and failing to properly supervise employees.

An unspecified amount in damages is sought for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages and loss of earning capacity.

Parker is represented by Metairie-based attorney Thomas M. Campbell.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner, Sr.
