DONALDSONVILLE – An Ascension Parish lumber company has sued a Baton Rouge contractor for unpaid bills.
Sorrento Lumber Company filed suit against Lancaster Construction, LLC and Arthur A. Lancaster, Jr. in the 23rd Judicial District on July 11.
Sorrento Lumber Company claims Lancaster failed to close an open account with the company. The plaintiff alleges the defendant still owes $6,943.24 for materials.
The defendant is accused of opening a personal credit account and then not paying the balance.
Damages in the amount of $6,943.24 plus attorneys fees and legal interest are requested.
Sorrento Lumber Company is represented by attorney Dwight D. Poirrier of Gonzales.
The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Thomas Kliebert, Jr.
