Woman sues after allegedly falling on broken pavement in parking lot

NEW ORLEANS – A Greensburg woman is suing a New Orleans parking lot owner for injuries she claims to have received on its premises.

Patricia McNeil filed suit against Premium Parking, LLC in the Orleans Parish Central District Court on July 24. McNeil claims she was at a parking lot owned by Premium Parking, LLC located at Camp Street and Poydras in New Orleans when she slipped on broken pavement in the parking lot and tripped and twisted her ankle. The plaintiff alleges she was unable to catch herself and fell first to her knee before her face slammed into the pavement. McNeil asserts she received severe injuries in the incident.

The defendant is accused of lack of attention, failing to keep the premises in a safe condition, keeping the premises in unsafe manner and failing to maintain the premises.

An unspecified amount in damages is sought for pain and suffering, medical expenses, loss of income.

McNeil is represented by Sarah Pfeiffer of the New Orleans-based the Law Office of Alexandra Mora.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
