Sub-contractor sues contractor for nonpayment

NEW ORLEANS – A sub-contractor has sued a contractor claiming it has not been paid.

SES Enterprises, LLC filed suit against Hatch Construction Services, LLC and Joseph and Anne Ruli in the Orleans Parish Central District Court on July 21.

SES Enterprises claims it did work on the Ruli's home after being sub-contracted by Hatch Construction Services. The plaintiff alleges it was never paid for the work done on the home located at 1409 Granada Dr. in New Orleans. SES Enterprises asserts it is owed $36,952.36.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

Damages in the amount of $36,952.36 plus legal interest and reasonable attorney's fees are sought.

SES Enterprises is represented by Metairie-based attorney Gail A. Snakenburg.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper D. Griffin.

Case no. 2012-07132.
