Old New Blue sued by paint and contracting servicer

NEW ORLEANS – A Magazine Street store and its owner have been sued by contractors who allege they never received money for demolition and remodeling services.

Adam Alan Painting & Contracting LLC filed a lawsuit against Old New Blue LLC and Jane Glade in the Orleans Parish Central District Court.

The plaintiffs assert the defendants owe a grand total of $139,093.49 for labor, management, material costs and several other costs incurred during demolition and repair work serviced to defendant's property.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract by failing to pay after amicable demand.

The plaintiff is seeking the contracted sum owed plus general damages and legal costs.

Gregory J. McDonald of Bienvenu, Foster, Ryan & O’Bannon, LLC will represent the plaintiff in court.

This case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.

Case no. 2012-11755.
