NEW ORLEANS - A local company is being sued for allegedly failing to pay for thousands of dollars worth of construction material.
National Polyfab Company Inc. filed a lawsuit against J-Foxx Contractor LLC in the Orleans Parish Central District Court on March 12.
The plaintiff, a distributor of materials used in concrete construction, claims the defendants purchased steel rebar and other materials on credit, but did not pay for the goods within the agreed terms of the contract.
Defendants allegedly owe plaintiff a sum of $36,194.85 for the material purchased.
The plaintiff is seeking the full amount owed plus applicable attorney's fees and legal cost.
