GRETNA – A Jefferson Parish poker machine company is suing a local business claiming it is owed more than $180,000

Lucky Coin Machine Co. filed suit against V&S Entertainment LLC, Patricia L. Grishaw, Vanessa Grishaw and William P. Grishaw in the 24th Judicial District Court on March. 21.

Lucky Coin Machine Co. claims that on March 10, 2006 it purchased the assets of Master Video Poker LLC which included an agreement with V&S Entertainment. The plaintiff alleges that the defendants owed them $160,016.07 at the time of the purchase and that they only made partial payments toward expiring that debt. Lucky Coin Machine Co. also asserts that they negotiated payment plans with V&S who only paid partial amounts for rent for a year and a half.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

An unspecified amount in damages is sought for $189,022.89 for the initial loan and rental payments.

Lucky Coin Machine Co. is represented by in-house counsel Thomas Ainsworth Robichaux of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.

Case no. 725-127.
