BATON ROUGE – A patron visiting a Baton Rouge fast food restaurant claims a taco she purchased contained a metal bolt which she bit down on.
Pamela K. Roy filed a lawsuit against Jack in the Box Inc., Jack in the Box Eastern Division L.P., Tammy K. Tarver and Tyson Foods Inc. in the 19th Judicial District Court on March 7.
The defendant is accused of failing to properly assemble the taco prior to sale and delivery, failure to certify that the taco was in good condition and failing to adequately inspect and repair the product prior to sale.
An unspecified amount is sought for physical injury, physical pain and suffering, lost wages and medical expenses.
The plaintiff is represented by Catherine L. Plauché of Baton Rouge-based Tomeny Law Firm APLC.
