GRETNA – A pool renovation company has been sued by a Jefferson Parish homeowner.
Lisa Oglesby filed suit against Donald Freeze and Donald’s Pool Service LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court.
Oglesby claims that she contracted Freeze to perform extensive repairs, remodeling and renovations on her outdoor pool located at 720 Sena Drive in Metairie. The plaintiff alleges that work the defendant did on the pool was done incorrectly and inadequately and that she did not receive items and equipment that she paid for. Oglesby asserts that she has had to hire another pool renovation company to correct the inadequate work, which includes repairing damages caused by Donald’s Pool Service.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract and property damage.
An unspecified amount in damages is sought for missing time from employment, personal stress, attorney fees, legal interest and cost of experts.
Oglesby is represented by Gregory J. Noto of Chalmette-based Noto Law Firm.
The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
Case no. 726-862.
