1351516979508e8333d448f

NEW ORLEANS – A man is suing a strip club after he was allegedly severely beaten by one of its bouncers.

James Fincher filed suit in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on July 26 against L.I.G. Inc., its insurance company, Jack Reynolds, and Dana Jacobs, each of whom may be an owner/operator of the Visions Men’s Club on 4000 Downman Road in New Orleans.

On July 27, 2012 the plaintiff was a “business invitee” of Visions Men’s Club in New Orleans East, the complaint states. The plaintiff claims that on that date he was, without provocation, attacked by a large bouncer. He alleges that the bouncer head-butted him in the face, jumped on top of him, held him down and repeatedly punched and kicked him in the head and other parts of his body.

The defendants are accused of failing to maintain a safe environment, failing to properly train and supervise employees and being otherwise negligent.

The plaintiff seeks an unspecified amount in damages for severe and painful injuries, as well as medical expenses, he has incurred as a result of this incident.

The plaintiff is represented by Alan G. Bouterie of Bouterie Law Frm APLC of Chalmette.

Case no. 2013-07045.
