NEW ORLEANS—A pool company is being sued for allegedly poor work done to a personal swimming pool.
Paul Dutreil and Catherine Dutreil filed suit against Kimbrough’s Pool Plastering Inc. also known as Kimbrough Inc. Pool and Spa Builders in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on July 17.
The Dutreils claim that after paying Kimbrough's to repair their pool, numerous defects began to appear including cracks in the pool, loss of water and loss of installed pool tiles. The plaintiffs report that the poor repair work performed by the defendant continue to worsen those conditions, causing the swimming pool to become unsightly and unfit for use.
The defendant is accused of failing to perform its obligations and duties as provided in the proposal to perform pool repairs entered on or about April 30, 2012.
An undisclosed amount in damages is sought for rectification of damage done to the pool and all other related forms of relief.
The Dutreils are represented by A. Patrick Dehon Jr. of the Law Offices of A. Patrick Dehon Jr.
The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Michael G. Bagneris.
