GRETNA – A shoring company is suing a local property owner it claims defaulted on a payment agreement for having work done on his home.
Accurate Shoring filed suit against James Travis Phillips III in the 24th Judicial District Court on March 3.
Accurate Shoring alleges it entered into an agreement with Phillips in which work on his home would be done at a cost of $30,000 with four percent interest charged on the outstanding debt. Accurate Shoring asserts that Phillips missed a payment and is liable for the full amount.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

Accurate Shoring is represented by attorney Stanley C. Kotteman Jr. of Kenner.
