NEW ORLEANS – A nail salon customer alleges her right index finger was lacerated during a manicure, leading to permanent scarring.

Catherine Nugent Dunn filed suit against Shiny Nails and State Farm Fire and Casualty Insurance Company in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Feb. 18.

On Feb. 20, 2014, the petitioner, Catherine Nugent Dunn, was receiving a manicure at the salon located at 117 Robert E. Lee Blvd. in New Orleans.
