The defendant in an ongoing case in the Civil District Court for Orleans Parish is asking a federal judge to be removed from the case.
In the case of Masonry Solutions International Inc. and Masonry Solutions Depot v. DWG and Associates Inc., Great American Insurance Co., Dynamic Industries Inc., DV and Associates LLC and ABC Insurance Co., DWG and Associates and Great American Insurance Co. filed a notice of removal July 2 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
The petitioners allege to only be subcontractors on the work, which concerns the general contracting for part of a federal project that aims to build the Carrollton water plant power complex in Orleans Parish.
