GRETNA – A corporate retailer is being sued by the father of a child he claims was injured when a shelving unit collapsed on top of her.
Britt Bullins, and his minor child, filed suit against Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Everett Dasurby in the 24th Judicial District Court on July 6.

An unspecified amount in damages is sought for medical expenses, pain and suffering, emotional distress and physical injuries.
Bullins is represented by J. Benjamin Avin of the New Orleans-based Irpino Law Firm.
The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
