GRETNA – A local fast food restaurant is being sued by a man who claims he was injured after slipping on an unknown substance and falling to the floor.

Ronald Gremillion filed suit against McDonald’s Store No. 3194 in the 24th Judicial District Court.

Gremillion contends in June 2014 he was visiting the McDonald’s located at 3532 Severn Ave. in Metairie when he slipped on an unidentified substance and fell to the floor. The plaintiff asserts he was severely injured in the incident.

Gremillion is represented by attorney Jeffrey Michael Heggelund of Gonzales.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
