Contractor sued for over $16K by flooring company

GRETNA – A flooring company is suing a contractor claiming it was not paid for flooring materials and the installation of a floor in a commercial property.

PS Wholesalers LLC filed suit against Cantrelle Company LLC and Henry J. Cantrelle in the 24th Judicial District Court on July 16.

PS Wholesalers claims it entered into a contract to provide and install flooring for Cantrelle Company on a commercial building project. The plaintiff alleges the price for the installation was $16,596.73, but the defendant has not repaid despite having been paid themselves for the complete work.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

Damages in the amount of $16,596.73 plus interest and attorney’s fees are sought by the plaintiff.

PS Wholesalers is represented by Covington-based attorney Francis R. White III.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.

Case no. 751-691.
