LAKE CHARLES — A Lafayette equipment provider is suing a Covington oil company, citing alleged it owes more than $123,000 for services and equipment rendered.
Hole Opener Corporation filed a lawsuit April 29 in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana Lake Charles Division against Linder Oil Company, A Partnership, alleging failure to comply with their master service agreement, a breach of contract.
According to the complaint, from July 30-Aug. 26, 2015, Hole Opener provided tools, equipment and services to Linder in connection with the exploration, production and operation of an oil and/or gas well for the total sum of $123,872.66.
The suit says this amount remains past due and has not been paid.
Hole Opener seeks a trial by jury, judgment of $123,872.66, plus interest, judgment declaring a lien, attorney fees, costs and all other expenses. It is represented by attorneys Brandon W. Letulier and Victoria V. Theriot of Neuner Pate in Lafayette.
