GRETNA – A Louisiana real estate corporation is seeking damages following an incident in which it claims the defendant failed to pay in full for properties that they chose to rent.

Latter & Blum Inc./Realtors filed a suit against Veterans Holdings LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court on April 21.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendant entered into three separate agreements for the rental of the plaintiff's properties in Metairie. The suit states, however, that despite amicable demands for payment, the defendant has failed to make payment for the full funds which they owe.

The plaintiff is seeking the more than $11,000 allegedly owed, plus 25 percent for attorney's fees. The plaintiff is represented by Jacob Kansas of Gretna. The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr.
