Capital One Bank claims cardholder failed to make payment on a credit card

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking damages following an incident in which an individual allegedly failed to make credit card payments.

Capital One Bank USA filed a suit against Raja Mahmood in the 24th Judicial District Court on May 4.

According to the claim, Mahmood acquired a credit card from the plaintiff and was required, due to the mutual agreement, to make payments to the account associated with the credit card. The suit states that the defendant breached the contract through his failure to make payments for the full sum of the credit card's balance.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract through his failure to make payments on the credit card.

The plaintiff is seeking $5,087.67 in damages. It is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville and Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
