GRETNA – A Metairie law firm is seeking damages claiming that a client failed to make payments for services received.

Wagar Richard Kutcher Tygier & Luminais LLP filed a suit against North Corporate Properties LLC and Phillips C. Witter in the 24th Judicial District Court on May 16.

According to the claim, the defendants retained the plaintiff to represent them legally on Oct. 14, 2016. The suit states, however, that the plaintiffs did not receive payments totaling more than $100,000 from the defendant for its services, despite multiple demands for payment.

The defendant is accused of failing to pay the plaintiff for the amount agreed upon in a timely manner.

The plaintiff is seeking $100,840.44 for the allegedly overdue account. The plaintiff is represented by its attorneys Robert A. Kutcher, Nicole S. Tygier and Jared A. Mouradian of Metairie. The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
