Credit card company files suit seeking payment of unpaid balance

GRETNA – Capital One Bank claims that a customer failed to make payments on his credit card.

Capital One Bank filed a suit against Robert Bordelon in the 24th Judicial District Court on May 24.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendant entered into an agreement in which the defendant agreed to make payments on a credit card issued by the plaintiff. Despite his claims to make payments, Capital One Bank alleges that the individual failed to make payments for more than $3,000.

The defendant is accused of failing to make payments on the account and breach of agreement.

The plaintiff is seeking $3,853.26 in damages. It is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville and Blitt in New Orleans. The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
