NEW ORLEANS – Delgado Community College claims that at student failed to pay for his balance.
The Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a suit Albert Mason against in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on June 16.
According to the claim, the defendant was a student at the institution in the spring semester of 2013. The suit states that while in attendance, the defendant incurred charges of more than $1,000.
The defendant is accused of open account for failing to make payments on the balance he accumulated.
The plaintiff is seeking $1,068.55 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Meghan N. Beal of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
