NEW ORLEANS – A woman is seeking damages alleging she is owed on a promissory note.
Veronica Young filed a suit against Margaret Young Bell in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on July 25.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a promissory note to the defendant for an amount of $65,000. The suit states that the defendant has failed to make payments to the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is seeking the $65,000 in damages. She is representing herself.
The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Tiffany G. Chase.
